Behind the Wheel Training Form
- To be eligible for behind the wheel training, students must complete 30 hours of classroom instruction (Driver/Safety Education). All students must pass this course before they can drive with an instructor. Behind the wheel consists of 6 hours of instruction. The instructor will cover basic driving/parking skills, defensive driving techniques, and roadway courtesy. Students can sign up for behind the wheel throughout the calendar year by bringing a completed behind the wheel sign-up form, a valid permit and a $250.00 instructional fee to Mrs. Bish in the high school main office.

Student work permits can be obtained in the main office. You will need documentation with proof of age - birth certificate, passport, driver's license, driver's permit or baptismal certificate. Signature from both parent and student are required to receive your work permit. After the form is filled out, I will email the student to let them know that the permit is ready to be picked up. Work permits are issued to minors between the ages of 14 and 18 under Child Labor Act of 2012. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Bish in the High School main office at 724-458-5456.
